MUSIC IN YOUR SOUL - A CELEBRATION OF MUSIC FROM THE 1960s

There’s a popular saying that if you can remember 1960s then you weren’t doing it properly! Well, I do remember the 1960s as a great era for popular music, with fantastic song writers and incredible groups and singers breaking out of the post war gloom of the 1950s to burst into the Swinging ‘60s.

To celebrate all things fab and groovy, the Nigel Bennett Orchestra invites you to ‘Music In Your Soul’, a celebration of the best of ‘60s pop, soul and Motown at The Maltings, Ely, on Saturday 21 March at 7:30pm.

Featuring, amongst others,  the music of Dusty Springfield, the Walker Brothers, and a whole host of Motown favourites, the NBO will take you on a trip down memory lane to help you recall where you were and who you were with when these songs were Top of the Pops.

The Nigel Bennett Orchestra has the same band line up as our last concert at the Maltings, including our fabulous singers, Chloe Grimes and Tom Huttlestone.
